This September, The Red Room Company will presented two poetry workshops at Oatley West Public School. The first workshop, on Monday the 7th, saw poet and artist Lilly Blue lead students in writing activities inspired by the Poetry Object learning resource, where they delved into the undiscovered magic of their favourite objects. The second workshop, on Thursday the 17th, was presented by poet Toby Fitch. With activities inspired by The Disappearing learning resource, students explored the magic of erasure poetry, taking each page of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland and creating their own new erasure poem text, Lice in Derland.
