Students in Years 9 and 10 in Head of English-literacy Ms. Erika Boas' elective Writers' Workshop, will be exploring activities from the Cabinet of Lost and Found learning resource. They will complete the core activity of a poem inspired by a talismanic object.  The students will have three  writing workshop sessions with their visiting author - Esther Ottaway, together with supplementary lessons with their class teacher.  The final poems created, together with documentation about the project,  will be displayed in glass cabinets in the schools' art gallery.  The students will invite family, staff and their peers to a launch of their 'Cabinet of Lost and Found' on completition of the project.  The students published their work into a book using online publishing company Blurb.com.
