As part of the school's Big Day In celebration, students from remote and regional locations were invited to gather in Sydney for a series of events including poetry workshops by The Red Room Company. Celebrated poet Candy Royalle staged a performance for the students on the 28th of May, 2014 and guided them through various writing and performance exercises. Candy Royalle's poem, "This difference exists", was inspired by this experience. You can read it here.
