In a special project supported by the Greame Wood Foundation and the City of Sydney, Lorna Munro and Eric Avery will introduce the students of Alexandria Community School to poetry writing and performance that incorporates Aboriginal language (including Wiradjuri, Gamilaroi, Ngiyampaa, Yuin and Sydney Languages).

This three week intensive project will see students from years 5 and 6 work with Eric and Lorna in a number of interdisciplinary activities that incorporate writing, performance, dance and music, culminating a special performance for their peers, local community members and elders from the Sydney community.
