Aidan Coleman

Aidan Coleman was born in Aberystwyth, Wales, and emigrated to Australia when he was eight. Aidan lives in Adelaide where he teaches English and co-authors Shakespeare textbooks. He has published chapbooks of poetry with Vagabond Press and Picaro Press and his first full-length poetry collection Avenues & Runways(Brandl & Schlesinger), was shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Literary Award.

Aidan’s poetry is featured on ABC Radio National’s Australian Poetry series, “A Pod of Poets”. He is currently working with the assistance of an Australia Council grant and his second collection of poetry Asymmetry will be published by Brandl & Schlesinger in 2012.
