Anna Jacobson is a Brisbane poet, writer, and artist. Her poetry has been published in literary journals and anthologies including Cordite, Rabbit, Australian Poetry Journal, Tincture, Verity La, Meanjin and ABR’s States of Poetry QLD Series 2. Her
poetry chapbook ‘The Last Postman’ is forthcoming with Vagabond Press as part of the deciBels series 3 in 2018, edited by Michelle Cahill. Anna was shortlisted in the 2017 Queensland Literary Awards for both the Emerging Queensland Writer
Manuscript Award and the Queensland Premier’s Young Writers and Publishers Award. In 2016 she was shortlisted for the University of Canberra Health Poetry Prize and in 2015 she was shortlisted for the Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize. Anna is
completing her Master of Philosophy, specialising in poetry at QUT.
