Esther Ottaway

Esther Ottaway's poetry has appeared in The Australian and leading literary journals over eight years. She was Australian Young Poet of the Year 2006 and has won a number of national poetry competitions, grants and residencies. Her debut poetry collection Blood Universe explores pregnancy and motherhood. 'Exceptionally vivid, moving, sometimes ironic, never sentimentalised, and very powerful' (Judith Beveridge).
