A Beauty Not Often Saw

The water falls from the streams above,
So, crystal clear and full of love.
The waterfall was Mediterranean blue and magical,
Swishing over the rocks joyfully,
The water was thundering down into the pool like a gigantic waterspout
It splashes down the cliff side,
And helps me dream in a deep sleep.
Closing my eyes,
I hear the water tumbling down,
And the birds chirping in the distance.
Listen to them sing a graceful melody.
The light of the sun, piercing my eyes with yellow,
You can smell the dirt, fresh water and leaves.
I stand under the waterfall to cool down,
But it was too wintry cold.
The water flows across the rocks,
This beauty seems to make time stop.
A waterfall,
Stands so tall.
A beauty not often saw.
