FIRE! FLAMES! As combustion rolls through my body,

I thought today would be a normal day like usual

But it turned out to be a day filled to the brim with blaze.

People screaming,

People shouting,

Birds screeching,

Pets pouting,

With crackles and pops, it sings so bright,

A warm, evil friend in a day's cruel delight.

With a flick of a spark, it can leap up so high,

It comes racing across into the starry night sky.

It makes me have an automatic fright.

Should we run, should we hide, I need to decide.

Quick!

Before fire takes over my mind.

Blaze after blaze

Hurry up before it’s too late!

Oh what a day filled with blaze.
