A dreaming stroll

My eyes softly simmer, flutter and float to a soft slumber,
my vision swirls like a galaxy showing off its glistening stars and comets that rain across.
My eyes open to welcome past memories that are busting through my head,
gardens in Hong Kong, exquisite buildings that have been withstanding nature years after years;
it creates perfect symmetry in the lakes, holding life within of fish that change direction with a flick of their tails;
the grey somber mountain rocky and rough spilling its waterfall of tears;
they gush mournfully, bitterly,
forlorn.
The lush leafy vegetation brushes my skin as my eyes meet new wonders sparkling with awe.
The trees shrivel and produce bark thick and strong as they age in these gardens.
The temples fixed with intricate architecture carved with care, painted with the swift stroke of a brush;
the aroma inside them whispers secrets and knowledge to my ears.
The birds perch their clawed feet on the branches with berries and flowers wrapping them, holding them with warmth.
My shoes step on sacred land, every step filled with a new scene of the gardens.
Now my feet are lifted from the phenomenal feel;
now I land softly on my bed sheets and stare up at the bare ceiling, nothing special but contemplating what I have witnessed.
My eyes drop fatigued,
the wind kisses my numb freezing cheeks,
tired,
exhausted.......
