A Feeling of Life

Underneath me, the warm sizzling sand
Crashing waves plummet the damp shore
Seagulls ascending their wings up high
I feel all free and grand

Startling waves I hear
Race my heart up and dear
That smile of a cherub I treasure
In my memory forever

As I wander around the pearly little shells
That cool breeze gush through my tresses
The sand and the ocean clash
Felt like a jolt in my heart 

Marking my footprints as I run along
Soft sand escape my hands
Spirits full of life
A place for all,  a place to smile
