Along the path down the bay,

through the trees, where's the way?

Cool breeze, wavy leaves,

the black path, the one that deceives.

Where to? Are we lost?

Who's 'we'? Am I being crossed?

Nightly cries, stronger wind,

no time to grieve or else you're pinned.

My head kept high, confidence kept low,

a snap of a twig, I fear my brain might blow.

My legs fall at a stop, time to rest,

in the morning I'll go west.

Time goes by, it's bright and early,

I feel refreshened, nice and sturdy.

Looking around, watching nature's beauty,

the rise of the sun, the colours nice and fruity.

What a sight, plenty to amaze.

Don't you worry, it was nothing but a forest maze.
