A gift for my Mother

A small little clip,
The colour of your lip,

Mother gave it to me,
Just for me to see,

The little ducky,
Makes me very lucky,

So precious and old,
It could break in the cold,

But despite its age ,
It can still hold more than one page,

This is a gift that I will keep forever,
If you ask to borrow it, I would say “never!”

It makes me happy and smile with glee,
Because it was given just for me.
