A Lion's Life

Roar, roar, an aggressive lion searching for his prey

Prowling, sneaking in the dense, dark jungle 

The dry leaves crunching as the lion carefully moves

Snap! A twig cracking under his force

Animals cleverly hide from his terrifying glare

This lion is the golden sun, its silky main blowing through the wind.

Rustle, rustle, lion cubs are having fun, playing in the hot, dry grass

The flapping wings of a butterfly flutter

As it flies just out of the reach of playful cubs' paws

Fast and furious young practise hunting

A meerkat just escapes as night falls

Snuggle, rest in a protective mother's embrace.
