As I walk along the trail

The dark forest trail

I spot a flower near a mushroom

A beautiful blue, stands out against the gloom

How I wish I could take it home

I know such beauty should not be stolen

But rather untouched and left pure

The bluebell stands so gentle and still

All alone in a bland, dark forest

A layer of mist covers the forest floor

But the little blue flower can still be seen

From such a distance away

The little blue petals shine so bright

Such a pretty sight
