As my feet padded on the ground,

lots of memories were found

Some good and happy,

some bad and sorrow

The bad ones of losses and disasters

The constant reminder that Quokkas were targeted

We once roamed free,

winding through open plains,

and endless forests

But now we’re limited,

limited in cages,

and limited in scarred forests

Since vile humans settled on our land,

our numbers went down,

our hopes went down,

That is the force of destruction

But we stay strong,

Since the second we were born

We stay united

And face the sorrow, the sorrow of memories
