A Reminder

As blue as the navy hue of the night,
Reminding me of the cool midnight breeze.
The silver pendants shining like the silvers stars shimmering in the sky.
Taking me back to the wonderful memories.
A reminder of who I used to be.

The cold reassuring touch of support, cooling my nerves.
Bringing with it calmness, confidence and success.
A charm of luck, a lucky charm, or more so a reminder of my talents and abilities
Like the waves of the ocean, taking me away to total paradise
A reminder of who I can be

Like a single red rose amidst a bush of thorns.
A memory to be treasured, for it created many more
Carefully chosen by another’s hand to remind oneself of courage, and opportunities
A sign that something so delicate can have such strength, and stay as strong as a beating heart
A reminder of what I who I want to be.

A reminder of many things
One of memories and friendships,
Of accomplishments and achievements, of hard work put to good use
