A treasured place

Morning dew dripping down the leaves,
Eucalyptus strong in the air,
This is where life can be found everywhere you look,
An archive carved into the tree by a skilled artist,
The twindly branches reaching down to me,
A treasured place,
Sunbeams as rich as the tree itself,
The creator trilling its beautiful band,
The birds circling and swooping,
Singing their song,
Their tweets tying them together like a friendship orchestra
A treasured place,
The leaves raining down onto me,
As a cascade of orange and red fall over the cowering trees,
This is what we call a treasured place.
