Amethyst

• My Amethyst is shiny like glazed candy,
Although it is not very handy,
Somebody took it from me,
It got caught in a tree,
So it fell down and got very sandy.

• My Amethyst is small like a pebble,
Although it is not made out of metal,
My friend gave it to me for a present,
It costs more than a cent,
So that is why it is very special.

• My Amethyst is transparent,
I brought it to class for its presence,
It is a shiny gem,
Its not in Bethlehem,
But I lost it because of its appearance.
