An Ode to Autumn

I dash out the door and a new air fills my lungs.
Leaves fly around me like bees in the sun.
The trees sway here and there, leaves fall off and dance in the air, like snow on a hare.
The children run out and roll in the leaves, like little bandicoots with a whole lot of fleas.
The children shout and say autumn is here to stay.
I smile and continue to walk and now I think it’s time to finish this joyful talk.
