An ordinary shirt with the eyes that you bear but
To my eyes words cannot explain my love for this object
It has a 127 year history yet it was made 1 year ago.

It is so comfortable even a million dollar man's thousand dollar suit
couldn't compete with the material and love that put together this masterpiece.
The smell is much like a oven releasing warm and rich smells that last
an eternity.

Every time I lay eyes on it,
I walk through the times of triumph and victory.
When we bought down and ashamed the footballing super powers,
but on the very edge of that thought.
The painful events of loss still linger around.

The men who even have the courage to even wear this shirt,
have taken the beautiful game
to a whole other level.
