As I lay in my bathtub,
I closed my eyes.
The water was warm
When I dreamt of a place for you and I.

O, how fair the sky was!
Her noble complexion was dyed in a most radiant blue.
Her soft features were unblemished by billowy tufts of vapour.
She was boundless like my love for you.

O, how glorious the sun was!
Gently caressing us with his lustrous rays
As we found calm repose on the fine grass and
Kissed with no regard for the days.

O, how fatigued the mountains looked!
For a year’s sleep failed to cure its languor.
But as it continued slumbering,
The sounds of serenity pacified our anger.

O, how golden the pastures were!
That field of nature’s delights rolled far down the earth
Until those feathery stalks could run no more,
And the wonderful world rebirthed.
