As the Sky Turns Black

As the sky turns black,

it blocks out the sun, 

leaving everyone in darkness.

Seconds is all it takes for the flames 

to paint the sky orange.

Birds fall from the sky, suffocated by smoke,

and ash falls down and people start to choke.

The clouds turn black again, 

consuming the sky.

And when the flames get closer, hope dies

as the sky turns black.
