At Tidal River

I drive in deep disguise
Gazing into the tunnel the trees have made
Shading me from the torrid sun
I hear the waves slam against the citrine sand
At
Tidal River
I wander along with Wilson’s Prom feet
Miniature grains of sand
Seeping
Through my toes
At
Tidal River
I walk along a well-worn track
Exploring the hidden secrets of Mount Oberon
Big, bold and beautiful
Seeing the sun surge
Seeing the moon recede
At
Tidal River
