Atlas

Atlas is running around the world
Putting information in and out.
Now it is old
But still directing people.

'Creak' it opens,
'Thud' it lands.
Its spine is torn, uneven
swampy green tome
aged and tinted with yellow,
faded orange strip on the side
but inside is a mystery.

It says it's an Atlas
but actually it's a map full of treasures,
many explorers have used this Atlas
and hidden treasures inside.
