I am hiking through the Australian Alps.

A spectacular sight to see.

The natural beauty fills my mind.

A portal from reality.

The breeze is racing through the air.

As I stand atop the craggy peak.

The birds are flying up on high.

Each one is stunningly unique.

The valley below is flooded with trees.

All with incredibly phenomenal styles.

Gums, pines, alpine ash, more.

Forest that stretches on for some miles.

The streams and the rivers winding all through the hills.

The peace and the quiet are nobody’s to own.

The magnificent aura letting wildlife live.

The rush of the water running past all the stones.

The smell of the eucalypt fills my heart.

The undiscovered wild ready to explore.

The wonderous felling I have as I step.
