Autumn leaves

Floating, flying, falling.
I watched as the leaves on the trees showered the park benches in bright orange and deep crimson red. It was as if the leaves slowly decended into their enormous bed. Specks of sunshine dusted the tips of the sidewalk as I strolled through the deserted park. It had almost grown dark. I made my way slowly back to the fence. I leaped over and landed into my backyard. Here leaves circled each other playfully as if they were playing a game of tag. I observed them silently in suspense. They darted through the yard. True ballerinas, the leaves had become. Leaves continued to sink into the dirt like they were burying themselves until springtime. The long, grim green grass rustled loudly as I made my way back inside. The sun came down and I took off my boots wearing the opposite of a frown.
