Bazil the Dog

Bursting with energy
that I just can’t please,
eyes always eager
running with ease.
He’s so intelligent
and always alert
searching the grass,
scraping the dirt.

He loves the water like he loves his ball,
he thinks he's huge but really he’s small.
His big personality always shines
but when the cat walks in, confused he whines
Bazil is my friend and always will be
if you met him you would agree.
