Black cockatoo

The endangered black cockatoo warns of rain.

It says ka, ka, ka.

Cockatoos are as loud as a rocket. 

They fly over treetops.

Cockatoos are coloured like the night sky. 

Climbing, looking, sliding down trees searching for yummy gum leaves.

While the Tasmanian tiger tries to get tucker. 

The black cockatoo flies through the night.

When winter turns to spring with babies born by day to night.

We hope more cockatoos will be flying through the night.

Hiding in the night for the future.

Throughout the year baby cockatoos will be the best thing ever.
