Black Cockatoo

I fly freely with such ease
as i cheekly approach danger
I sneakily hide away
I feel weepy as it comes and destroys what i love
it gives me such anger
To see them taking away the only thing i have
My habitat, my only home…
I'm now alone
With nothing left to go to
You do not know what i'm going through
I hear those loud screeching engine it's nothing like i have ever heard before
I don't understand why these humans would do this.
It hits me hard of what they do to every black cockatoo
Many of my family friends are either dead or depressed.
