Carefully hand sewn
The stitches in and out, through the thin layers of fabric
Patterns
All over a blank canvas
A happy canvas
With bright colours

Pink, green, purple, blue
My favourite ones back then
So many years ago
Too many to remember, though it still looks new
It fills my eyes with joy

Keeping me warm
All through the night
In every Winter
And every Summer
Like a jumper
With a perfect thickness

As I lay on my bed
I feel the light breeze
It makes me wheeze
And I dream, dream, dream
Off to sleep
