Hand made, it was, hand made by my Aunty,
Made, before my life began
Made, for me
Made with love and reason
It was my, dream-maker
My comfort-chaser
And magic-creater
But now, lost, gone forever
Drifting somewhere unknown
Left there, never forgotten
Made looking amazing and clean
As the cream, green blanked became more loved it became more ragged, ripped and ruined,
But its looks never bothered me
It was my precious blanky that gave me security
Now, lost, gone, out of my reach, and never to be found.
Maybe someday I will venture to that same place,
That same house and see, staring at me on the kitchen bench, my blanky
Found, finally in my possession, never forgotten.
