I smell the salty beach wrapped around my skin like a blanket.

I run on the microscopic grains of sand and enter the water.

Crystal clear, thunderous, roaring waves greet me on arrival.

I get washed to shore in a fright, almost giving myself a heart attack.

I hear the cackling of kids enjoying their day while the seagulls chirp and screech in hunger.

I discover tiny fish surrounding me, looking for food in the shallows.

This is Bondi - my favourite place.
