Bracelet

The bracelet is a blue bird
Diving down from its nest.
As soon as it reaches the ground,
It pounces back up
and soars through the air
It's as lumpy as a turtles shell,
Hard as stone,
Like a snake slithering through the jungle.
As blue as the sea of the Greek islands,
It's strong, solid, silver and smooth.
It's like a bluebell lost in a sea of daisies,
precious but rare.
It was raised in an old antique shop,
It sat on an old shelf, collecting dust
until someone found it
and treasured it like a child.
