Bushwalk

The trees gracefully sway in the breeze
like a dog’s tongue outside the car window
Bushwalkers come from town
The grass feels nice on their back as they lie down
Making them feel comfort
The bushwalkers were satisfied, cool feeling like a water tide
Calm like a wave, kind like a smile
The forest is green like broccoli
Bright and healthy
The soil is brown like chocolate
Rich in love and care
The forest has water as clear as glass and cold as ice
Clearing us of our dirtiness
The hikers struggle like a chicken coming out of the egg
The forest is my family who all work together
An ecosystem that supports and nurtures
The ground is my dad who holds the family together
connects us always
My mum is the trees that help us in everything we do and fulfills our needs.
