Bushwalk

I stumble on rocks,
I feel the wind rush past me,
I hear the bird’s song,
I rush through the stream,
I sweat like a waterfall,
I run through the bushes,
They scratch me so much it hurts,
I jump and tap leaves,
The leaves feel so smooth and nice,
My shoes get dirty,
My dad will get a surprise,
I am with nature,
Beautiful, pretty nature,
The bush is luscious,
The bush seems elevated,
Because it’s so high,
Now eyes are drawn up,
To the big, beautiful sky.
