Butterflies

Flap, flap, flap.
They glide through the grass gracefully,
Their colourful wings like beautiful paintings.
Will they ever stop?
They dodge everything in their path.
They go side, to side.
Such beautiful butterflies bouncing off flower buds,
They go past seagulls, ladybirds, trees, and me.
Goodbye, I say.
