By the Ocean

Seaweed drifting through the current
bit by bit,
crunched by purple and blue parrot fish.
Orange and pink splotches across the sky
while the pale moon rises in the west,
and ships dot the horizon.
Waves crash against the shore
as horns of ships blow.
Shards of sand sting my bare legs
as I walk along the dusty sand dunes.
