By The Sea

The wooshing sounds of waves calm my mind 

The fresh salty air relieves my worries

From here I watch the world go by

For the quiet is what I enjoy 

I feel a cool breeze flow around me 

And the sand scratching my ears 

At peace is what I feel when I'm near here

The subtle sounds of laughter fill the air

As well as the chirping of the birds behind me

When I'm at the sea, I can put my worries behind me
