He lies peacefully on a cosy bed,
He is calm, happy, relaxed in the head.
He looks like he's alive, but he's sadly not real,
That's why he's lived his life without a meal.

He came from a factory, like lots of others,
Made by men, women, fathers and mothers.
He travelled to a toy store right in town,
All intact, when he still had his gold crown.

So my dad drove all the way there,
When I still had almost no hair,
As he got home it was around about noon,
And when I saw Charlie the bear,
I was over the moon!
