Colouring Book

My colouring book sees my imagination,
It knows when I’m feeling calm.
It hears my thoughts,
It’s floral and honest.
It’s seen it all.

It sees all the graceful colours,
Shimmered around the page.
I know it will be there for me.
I’ve had it since I was young.
It’s seen it all.

It’s loyal,
I feel calm and relaxed when I colour in it.
I feel special and respected when I colour it in.
I feel grateful and lucky that I have it,
It’s seen it all.

It sees the side of me that none sees,
It’s seen my creative side,
It’s seen my excited side,
It’s seen my confident side,
It’s seen when there’s sadness there is always happiness.
It’s seen it all.
