Corruption spreads like a wildfire,
across third and western worlds.
Flapping wings of a false bravado,
to some that don’t deserve.

Greedy souls hoard all the money,
amidst a masquerade.
Governments don’t spot the drug cartels,
that profit from illegal trade.

Money, Money, Money, Money,
that’s all they want these days.
Money, Money, Money, Money,
they’ll get it in any way.

Corruption is a deadly snake,
it reels and spits its venom.
Blind? Is that really all we see?
Out with a bang, the riches I lie dead on ‘em.

The superrich convulse an envious high,
I want an end to all of this.
How can they stand there and cry?
When they’re draining our lives with a hiss.

Money, Money, Money, Money.
What else lies in wait?
Money, Money, Money, Money,
It’s like a fishing hook rigged with bait.

How do we stop this act of horror?
That slices with mindless knives.
We have to educate the person next to us,
by doing this we ought to survive.

We have to do this all together,
see through the hazy lies.
To the caterpillar that feasts on corruption,
into a radiant butterfly.

Money, Money, Money, Money.
Is there another way?
Money, Money, Money, Money,
it’s awful I have to say.

Together we can stop this wildfire,
across third and western worlds.
The corrupt are the arsonists, so that makes us the firemen,
together we can save the world.
