I remember the day
When your eyes were as bright as the sun
When your fur was brown
With a nose as black as the dark sky
But it’s all gone

I threw you up in the air across the sand
Flying, flying with the stars above you
Flying higher and higher
Then falling down, down, down into the deep sea
Deeper and deeper you went
I thought you were gone forever
I was crying
Many years past
Everyone forgot about you except ME

One night I ran out to the beach where I lost you
I found you in a tree
With some words on it
It said “Rockley”
