Different But Same

I have two coins.
One rusty and old,
The other shiny and new.
You may think the shiny is more valuable than the old,
But I don't judge them differently,
To me, they are both equal.
Even though one is old and rusty,
And the other is shiny and new,
They both are similar;
They are.
They both have kangaroos carved on them,
They are both Australian,
And they both are keepsakes to me.
I don't care if one is forty-eight years old,
Or if the other hasn't even had its first birthday,
They both are special;
And I love them both.
