Diving past plastic

As I dive after hatching from mother's egg my sight captures jellyfish
falling above, I'm starving but I touch it, it doesn't sting
when I realise... It's plastic. Tears drop, drop from my
eyes because I know my ocean home is getting
wrecked.
Over time, coral shrinks. I watch as my ocean plants fade before my
eyes. As dusk drifts by and the sunset starts,
I lay down on a rock covered in moss. My life flashes before my
eyes...
