Down Below

As the sun shined through the leaves

the branches waved hello

and the tree saw all that happened below

big accidents, small accidents 

and emergencies that do not glow

it almost witnessed crows but luckily,

it did not happen below

competition, blood and friendships happened below 

but luckily there were no bloodbaths below

berries, apples and leaves all fell below but

sadly soon there would be a crow below

one on early morning

before the branches waved hello

there were sounds of saws in the air

and sadly crows were by the tree

in the air

then a thump shook the ground

and we all knew it was the tree that made the sound

suddenly crows flocked the stump

and that was the end of our friend tree joe.
