Dying Forest

Crystal-clear water splashing in the forest

Fish swimming happily downstream

Birds chirping up in the trees

Sounding like happy melodies

But now the fish are not swimming happily

The birds are not chirping in tall trees

For there are no more trees to live in

The crystal-clear water has been turned to brown sludge

The nearly-dead trees have spoken to me

As a child, you humans killed my mother

And now you are doing the same thing to other trees

What happened to this forest

Will happen to the rest of the world

Unless…

You humans take a stand and fight for nature

To fix your mistakes and become a part of nature again

Then maybe, just maybe,

We can save our dying world
