Failing to Grow

Plants' nutrients are drained due to pollution

Some think it’s all an illusion. 

The growth is failing, 

It’s factories' fault and pollution is winning by default.

This needs to stop, 

Or our climate will get too hot. 

Quick time is running out,

The council will forget what it’s about. 

It’s getting hot in here and it’s not my fault, 

My plants are dying in this weather. 

The plants are looking dreadful, we’re not being careful.

Our trees are hurt. 

Trapped in a parched cage with strangling roots,

It's so unfair, the trees provide air!

Whoosh! 

It’s a dread that is flaming up red, 

Bigger and bigger, 

It’s towering overhead, 

It needs a helping hand before it burns the land

We need to stop climate change before our land becomes too hot!
