Fins of the Ocean

Nature's tears bless the land of gold
I only wish for her to hold
Her children though they hate
Destroy instead create
Played with us she used to do
Run away for there are few
The ocean masks her once loud cries
I wish that this was just mere lies
Past hunted now beloved
How can she forgive?
On our hands are the blooded
They deserved to live
The markets highly valued
Her meat, her fins and oil
We butchered and stole them
And in turn became too spoiled
Only loss did we recieve
To see her beauty leave
Could she ever decide to forgive
Though they deserved to live
