Fire bold as a tiger,

Provoking to us like an army of frantic ants,

Too tumultuous to hear,

The scarlet carpet draped across the sky,

Blue sizzled across her back,

Souls collapsed,

Earthlings now in a world of distress,

The conflagration seemed to win the war,

Fatigue washed our courage away,

But oh, The pain! The stress! We could not bear this!

Hours of fury,

Hours of audacity,

The incandescence finally slunk back,

Water dripping from pipes, like our devastated feeling,

Until a sprout of growth,

A sprout of hope, spring finally came,

The green jumped with joy, our memories clung,

Our shriveled tears,

Fire bold as a tiger is gone,

Gone forever.
